Lee Behnken’s Story

Lee Behnken grew up in rural Ohio

Lee Behnken grew up in rural Ohio, surrounded by generations of Lutheran heritage. From an early age, his parents taught him to pray in the name of Jesus, instilling in him a deep reverence for the Lord. During his college years, Lee encountered a powerful spiritual awakening and made a life-defining decision: not just to include Jesus in his life, but to let Jesus be his life (Colossians 3:4).

Ordained through the Evangelical Church Alliance

Ordained through the Evangelical Church Alliance in 1996, Lee has served in numerous ministries, from international missions and worship gatherings in Jerusalem, to prison outreach and church leadership. His music ministry is rooted in scripture, and his calling into the Song of Solomon was sparked during a mission trip to Asia, where the phrase, “The Song of Songs is likened to the Holy of Holies,” forever changed his spiritual path.
