OCTOBER 2025 PRAYER NEWSLETTER

October Prayer Newsletter

Dear beloved,

Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. Song of Solomon 4:7 KJV

You are absolutely beautiful and amazing, My favorite one; sealed as righteous, there’s no spot, no moral stain, not a blemish, no flaw or wrinkle… not one imperfection in you.

Song of All Songs 4:7 (our paraphrased interpretation)

Song of Solomon 4:7 is the key verse for the Song of Solomon, affirming the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Christ you have the forgiveness of your sin and the glorious gift of God, the promise of eternal life… for the praise of GOD’s glory!

For He (GOD) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians 5:21

The Song of All Songs… our 8 chapter, 8 album, 80 song, verse by verse devotional in the Song of Songs or the Song of Solomon (SOS)… is finished… mostly. We still have edits we are working on in the SOS Study Guide/Workbook (and we’re making a few tweaks on the website) but this month we are officially launching the 25 year “work of my life” (my magnum opus)… The Song of All Songsbeginning with this THANK YOU!!!

Dear beloved… To all of you who have supported me all these years thru your prayers… and many of you thru your financial support… helping me to get The Song of All Songs finished and out… I want to say, “THANK YOU… THANK YOU… THANK YOU”!!!

As a thank you gift, I would like to share The Song of All Songs (SOS) with you. To listen to the SOS songs on your cell phone, send yourself a text with this “SOS-albums” website…. (Feel free to share this website with friends and family… and we’ll see what grows):

Also at the website is The Song of All Songs “Study Guide”. Each song has a Bible study, Bible study questions and song lyrics. SOS hard copies have space for writing notes and prayers.

Both the 80 SOS songs and the SOS study guide are available at www.SongOfAllSongs.com. Many (but not all) of the 8 SOS Chapters are available through the streaming platforms. We are hopeful to soon see all 8 SOS Chapters (all 80 songs) on all the streaming platforms. The last we checked, Spotify (the most popular music streaming platform in the world) now has 7 out of 8 SOS Chapters (we’ve been working on this all summer and fall). Unfortunately, the streaming platforms jumble up the order of the songs in some of the SOS chapters. I recommend you listen at www.SongOfAllSongs.com/albums and follow the SOS songs in the order of the Bible verses.

As of this month, The Song of All Songs (SOS) is at the beginning of the beginning of an aggressive internet promotional strategy. We are working with Dennis Alejo, the founder of the social media marketing company, “Instant Web Tools” (visit www.InstantWebTools.com). Already in our first month our “best response” to the SOS ministry is coming from China (isn’t that amazing) and we are seeing good responses from many nations. Dennis has just this week sent out our first The Song of All Songs press release to 100s of international news outlets.

Please continue to pray for doors to open for The Song of All Songs in Ohio’s prisons. I have spoken with the chaplain over Ohio’s prison ministry and we hope to meet in November so that I may introduce the SOS to him… in hopes of putting the 80 SOS songs on our inmates’ devices.

We are planting SOS seeds and praying for God to work in and through The Song of All Songs to draw people to a close relationship with our beloved Lord and savior, Jesus Christ…

Our Prayer (Taken from Song of All Songs 4:7 on page 144in our SOS Study Guide):

Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending Jesus to be sin for me, to be put to death on the cross for the forgiveness of my sin; that I might be made the righteousness of God. It is finished. Amen

In closing… also taken from SOS 4:7 in The Song of All Songs study guide:

The Song of Songs is all about an intimate and personal relationship with Jesus, the Word of God (in thought, word and deed), knowing who you are in Christ (your true identity, place and destiny) and bearing spiritual fruit that lasts forever… to the glory of GOD our Father.

.

For now we see in a mirror (in the Word of God) dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully (Ephesians 3:19), just as I also have been fully known.

I Corinthians 13:12 NASB

Thank you for your continued prayers and support! I am praying for you (and your loved ones) as you share your prayer requests with me.

The LORD bless you and keep you…

Your brother in Jesus,

Lee Behnken

P.S. Also attached is, “My Hair Story” which I’ve been passing out everywhere I go… at the grocery store, the post office, the bank, the doctor’s office. Many people have noticed, “I’ve cut my hair” and “My Hair Story” has been a fun way to share The Song of All Songs with them.

In January 2000 the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) invited friends and I to sing Christian music on national TV in Wuhan China for the Chinese New Year celebration. On that trip to Asia I also helped a missionary friend in Bangkok Thailand who LOVED the Song of Songs. It was when he said, “The Song of Songs is the Holy of Holies in the Bible”… that he got my attention.

Soon I was spending time everyday in this amazing book in the Bible… and I started writing songs from the verses in the Song of Songs (SOS) that were touching my heart… and then I started thinking about recording “a whole album” dedicated to the SOS. Several years into my journey in the SOS I started planning for a “double CD set” (back in the CD days) of songs taken from the SOS… and then:

In the summer of 2007 I was praying with a group of young men in Dayton, Ohio who were passionate about drawing closer to Jesus. They decided to do a “Nazarite fast” (which included not cutting their hair for the summer) and I joined them in the fast. It was during our fast that summer when I realized the Lord was calling me to grow an 8 Chapter, 80 song, verse by verse devotional taken from the Song of Songs (one of 5 wisdom books in the Bible). I figured I would have the 80 song recording project finished by the end of 2011… and then I would cut my hair (hair in the Bible is sometimes a symbol of dedication, commitment or of a vow).

The Song of Songs is both a wisdom book and a poetry book. God imparts wisdom to us through His poetry. Poetry in the Bible requires us to sloooooooooooow down… and spend time with God. It took 25+ years to study, write, record and prepare the Song of All Songs ministry. The 8 Chapter, 80 song, verse by verse devotional in the SOS is finished and on our SOS website… and I have finally cut my hair (most of it had already fallen out over these last 18+ years).

Check out the 80 SOS songs at www.SongOfAllSongs.com/albums

You are invited to spend time listening to the Song of All Songs (SOS). It’s free! Also check out the SOS Study Guide which you’ll find on the website. I like to listen an hour each day (and 2 hours on Saturdays). Sometimes I like listening while reading along in the SOS Study Guide.

It’s taking some time but; several of the streaming services (i.e. Spotify) have most of the 80 SOS songs. There’s SOS CD sets available and hard copies of the SOS Study Guide (just ask).

Take the SOS challenge:

Listen to 1 SOS Chapter (1 hour a day) each day of the week

and SOS Chapters 7 and 8 (2 hours) on Saturdays… for one year.

All 8 SOS Chapters X 52 weeks = wisdom from above (James 3:17) all year.

Sincerely,

Lee
